  Katarina Svanberg,女,瑞典人,华南师范大学****(Part-time)、硕士研究生导师。2010年当选国际光学工程学会(SPIE)主席。1984年毕业于隆德大学,获医师学位;1989年毕业于隆德大学,获医学博士学位;2004年参与共同创建Spectracure AB高新技术公司并兼任公司首席医学顾问;2005年成为国际工程光学学会(SPIE)资深会士;2009年参与共同创建Gasporox AB高新技术公司;2011年开始出任国际工程光学学会主席;2011年至今,在华南师范大学,担任****。她从事生物光子学研究和光谱学的生物应用,主要包括:光动力疗法(Photodynamic therapy)和激光光谱学在生物医学领域的应用(Applications of laser spectroscopy in biomedicine),是瑞典隆德大学附属医院肿瘤学的首席顾问,隆德大学医学激光研究中心的主任。著有100多篇SCI检索的国际期刊文章,其中以第一作者发表的关于临床光动力治疗的一篇论文被SCI他引281次。获得国际发明专利10余项。也曾获过多项荣誉:1995年因“在人体组织激光诊断和癌症治疗的杰出的多学科交叉研究成果”被授予瑞典皇家科学学会交叉学科研究奖;2004年在斯德哥尔摩获SKAPA 杰出创新奖;2007年荣获“瑞典工业发展部”杰出创新奖荣誉。她是瑞典SpectraCure公司、GasPorox等生物医疗器械公司的创始人之一,同时她也受邀担任美国STI等其他公司的顾问。
