研究领域:
以我国特有药用植物为研究对象,探索并建立了药用植物资源收集、研究和开发利用的3R模式研究体系(Resource-Research-Resolution),旨在解析药用植物中次生代谢物的合成和调控机制,阐明中药材道地性的分子机理;通过代谢工程和遗传改良实现药用植物次生代谢的定向调控,培育优良药用植物新品种,推动其可持续开发利用。目前主要研究内容包括:枸杞、甘草、淫羊藿的资源的收集和评价;类黄酮和类胡萝卜素代谢途径的分子调控;环境因子影响次生代谢产物积累的分子机制;特种活性成分的生物合成;优良药用品种和保健功能植物品种的培育和产业化。
