研究领域发展高压、高温/低温等极端条件实验技术,研究物质在极其宽广的压力和温度等物理维度中的结构与性质,进而探索凝聚态物理、材料物理以及物理化学等领域的新现象,开发新型功能材料。研究兴趣具体为:超高压力实验技术,同步辐射高压测试技术,固态相变动力学,极端条件下的超硬材料以及二维、三维纳米材料等新型功能材料的制备,凝聚态材料在极端条件下的奇异性质及其同素异形体的探索。
