王立新 教授
南方科技大学社会科学高等研究院特聘研究员
文学硕士，历史学博士。南开大学文学院比较文学与世界文学专业教授、博士生导师，兼任南开大学汉语言文化学院院长，国务院颁发政府特殊津贴专家。研究领域为古代以色列民族史、希伯来文学与文化、欧美文学。中国高等教育学会外国文学专业委员会副会长、天津市外国文学学会会长。代表著作有《古犹太历史文化语境下的希伯来圣经文学研究》《探赜索幽——王立新教授讲希伯来文学与西方文学》《古代以色列历史文献、历史框架、历史观念研究》等。国家社科基金重大项目“希伯来文学经典与古代地中海文化圈内文学、文化交流研究”首席专家。在南科大拟开课程：希伯来文化与文学、古代以色列民族史。
WANG Lixin, Professor

Prof. Wang obtained a master’s degree in Literature and a doctoral degree in History. He is a Professor of Comparative Literature and World Literature and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Literature at Nankai University, the Dean of the College of Chinese Language and Culture at Nankai University. He received a special allowance as an expert for the State Council. Prof. Wang specializes in the study of ancient Israeli traditions and history, Hebrew literature and culture, and Euro-American literature. He is the Vice Director of the Foreign Literature Division of the Chinese Higher Education Association and Director of the Tianjin Foreign Literature Association. Professor Wang’s major publications include Literary Studies of the Hebrew Bible in the Context of Ancient Jewish History and Culture; Lectures on Hebrew Literature and Western Literature; Studies of Historical Documents, Historical Frameworks, and Historical Ideas in Ancient Israel. He is currently the head expert for the project Research on Cultural Interaction between the Hebrew Literary Heritage and Ancient Mediterranean Cultural Circles, funded by the National Social Science Fund of China. At SUSTech Prof. Wang will teach courses on Hebrew Culture and Literature and Ancient Israeli Traditions and History.
