个人简介
Profile: Wenjie Wu is a professor at Ji Nan University, Guangzhou, China. He has formerly worked in the University of Glasgow (tenured Lecturer/Assistant Professor)and Heriot-Watt University (tenured Associated Professor). He did PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His research interest spans the spatial transformations of urban enviroment and development, with a focus of using empirical methods to inform public policy. His work has been published in journals such as Journal of Economic Geography, Journal of Comparative Economics, Journal of Regional Science, European Journal of Operational Research, Annals of the Association of American Geographers, and among others. His work has been funded by the Scottish government, ESRC,NSFC and international funding agencies. Apart from his academic works, he has spent time as a consultant expert for the World Bank, China Development Bank and other agencies. He has been awarded as the World Social Science Fellow (Big Data in Urban Contexts) by the International Social Science Council in 2015. From Octbor 2019, Wenjie has been selected as the Global Board of Directors of the International Association for China Planning.
简介:武文杰,暨南大学教授、博士生导师。研究领域主要是人居环境与城市发展、区域经济。广东省优粤人才专家,国家社科重大项目首席专家。主持国家社科重大项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目等研究项目,并与国家发改委、住房与城乡建设部、国家开发银行等协同,致力于将研究应用于国家战略和社会需求。武文杰教授服务于中国国际规划协会(International Association for China Planning),任全球Board of Directors, 并为世界银行等国际组织和世界500强企业提供咨询服务。
武文杰曾在英国高校获终身副教授,他于伦敦政治经济学院获得博士学位。兼任英国伦敦政治经济学院空间经济研究中心客座研究员、格拉斯哥大学城市大数据中心联合创始人等。近年来在包括Journal of Economic Geography, Journal of Regional Science,Annals of the Association of American Geographers等国际重要期刊发表论文多篇。
