个人简介


暨南大学病原微生物研究院/广东省病毒学重点实验室教授、博士生导师,广东省南山医药创新研究院特聘研究员,武汉大学微生物学学士、病毒学国家重点实验室博士,哈佛大学医学院访问学者、香港大学医学院微生物系博士后、广东特支计划“青年拔尖人才”、广东省高校优秀青年教师、广州市珠江科技新星,主要研究方向包括呼吸道病毒的基因组学、流行病学、腺病毒载体、疫苗、抗病毒药物;在呼吸道腺病毒的基础和应用基础研究方向取得了一定成果,推动了我国呼吸道腺病毒研究的快速发展。承担国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金项目多项;在《New England Journal of Medicine》《Emerging Infectious Diseases》《Journal of Virology》《Vaccine》《Emerging Microbes and Infections》《Frontiers in Immunology》等国际学术刊物上发表40多篇研究论文,引用2000多次;申请发明专利多项。现担任中国微生物学会医学微生物学与免疫学专委会、病毒学专委会的青年委员,NCBI人类腺病毒研究组委员,广东省精准医学应用学会免疫治疗分会委员,广东省遗传学会青年委员,2020年广东省战“疫”专家组成员,中国腺病毒研究协作组发起人;担任第13届国际腺病毒大会分会主持人,第四届全国病毒学青年学者学术研讨会共同主席,首届全国腺病毒学术研讨会大会共同主席,青年****和国家自然科学基金评审专家;《Virologica Sinica》、《Frontiers in Microbiology》Editor,国家大学生创新创业训练项目指导教师、 广东省“攀登计划”大学生科技创新项目指导教师。

研究方向


腺病毒基因组学、流行病学、新载体、抗病毒药物、疫苗:
(1)利用新策略开发有效特异的抗腺病毒药物和疫苗、建立优化动物感染和致病模型。
(2)鉴定发现新的腺病毒种类、腺病毒基因组重组机制研究
(3)动物腺病毒的跨种传播机制、腺病毒种属特异性机制的研究;
(4)新型动物腺病毒载体的研发;
(5)腺病毒为载体的新冠病毒疫苗研究
My research interests are the genomics, epidemiology, novel vectors, antivirals and vaccines for human adenoviruses (AdVs) and other respiratory viruses, such as novel coronaviruses, influenza viruses, etc.
1. Recently, more and more human acute respiratory disease outbreaks caused by AdV have emerged in schools, families and military. We are developing effective antiviral drugs and vaccine candidates using new strategies and optimal animal models.
2. Analysis of whole-genome sequences for these emergent AdVs and identification of the homologous recombination and transmission mechanism during adenovirus evolution.
3. The cross-species transmission (CST) of animal AdVs is a potential threat to human health and animal adenovirus vector development. The study of CST of AdVs in simians provides a scientific basis for the prevention and control of adenovirus diseases as well as for the novel simian AdV vector development.
4. Development of novel adenovirus vector-based coronavirus vaccines and coronavirus VLP vaccines.
