冯新焕,女,教授,博士生导师,教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”入选者,广东省高等学校“千百十工程”第六批省级培养对象。
1995年7月于南开大学物理系光学专业获得学士学位,1998年7月于南开大学现代光学研究所获得硕士学位。1998年至2002年于河北省长途电信传输局从事通信系统监控方面的工作。2005年7月于南开大学现代光学研究所获得博士学位。2005年8月至2008年12月在香港理工大学电机工程系工作,先后任职Postdoctoral Fellow及Research Fellow。2009年3月入职暨南大学光子技术研究所任职教授。
冯新焕教授主要从事光纤通信与传感领域研究,研究内容包括各种光纤无源器件、有源器件及其在光通信系统中的应用、全光信号处理技术、微波光子学等,现主持在研项目4项,包括国家自然科学基金面上项目一项(傅里叶域锁模光纤激光器机理与特性研究),教育部项目两项(多波长光纤激光器在微波光子学系统中的应用;适于WDM-PON系统的多波长单频光纤激光器技术研究),以及博士点基金项目一项。
冯新焕教授在相关领域共发表学术论文50余篇,其中SCI收录34篇,EI收录41篇,文章他引次数达200多次。已获关于光纤激光器的授权发明专利2项。参与的“光纤激光激射理论与实验研究”获得天津市自然科学一等奖。
此外,冯新焕教授还被邀在前沿信息通信技术国际会议 (ICAIT 2008)上做特邀报告;曾担任2010年亚太微波光子学国际会议(APMP2010)的技术程序委员会(TPC)成员。同时是Optics Express、IEEE/OSA Journal of Lightwave Technology、IEEE Photonics Technology Letters等十几种国际权威期刊审稿人。
