简历:

  1977-1980广东医科大学临床医学专业。  1985-1988中山医科大学传染病学专业硕士研究生,获医学硕士学位。
  1995-1998中山医科大学病原生物学专业博士研究生,获医学理学博士学位。期间于1997在美国加州大学(UCLA)医学院作访问学者。
  1980-1985广东医科大学附属医院感染科医师、助教。
  1988-1995,1998-2004广州市疾病预防控制中心先后任助理研究员、副研究员、研究员,微生物科主任、艾滋病研究室主任。
  2004-现在,中国科学院广州生物医药与健康研究院研究员,博士生导师,博士后合作导师。曾任院长助理、感染与免疫研究中心主任、呼吸疾病国家重点实验室副主任。


研究领域:

    长期从事疟原虫生物学和免疫学研究,包括疟原虫与肿瘤的相互作用、疟原虫与艾滋病毒的相互作用研究。目前主要从事疟原虫免疫疗法治疗癌症的基础与临床研究及新型抗疟药的开发。陈小平团队发现疟原虫感染可以拮抗肿瘤免疫抑制微环境,启动抗肿瘤天然和适应性免疫应答,抑制肿瘤血管生成,抑制肿瘤的生长和转移,显著延长肺癌、肝癌、结肠癌和乳腺癌等实体肿瘤荷瘤小鼠的寿命。与钟南山院士团队等合作,在多家医院开展疟原虫免疫疗法治疗晚期肺癌和其它晚期实体肿瘤的临床试验。与美国圣-路易斯大学合作开发以疟原虫天冬氨酸蛋白酶为靶点的新型抗疟药。目前主要招收博士后研究人员。主持和参与国家863、973科技计划,国家传染病重大专项、科技部重点攻关项目,美国NIH与国家自然科学基金联合资助项目,多项国自然,中科院科技攻关等十多项科技计划的实施。发表科研论文90余篇,申请和获授权发明专利20项。
