广东外语外贸大学汉语国际教育中心简介

      为适应汉语国际推广的大好形势与师资需求,加快汉语走向世界的步伐,广东外语外贸大学在2009年成为汉语国际教育硕士专业学位研究生培养单位之后,结合自身办学特色与现有条件,设立了汉语国际教育中心,隶属中国语言文化学院。
汉语国际教育专业硕士,是与国际汉语教师职业相衔接的专业硕士学位。我校汉语国际教育中心的主要任务是培养具有熟练的汉语作为第二语言教学技能和良好的跨文化交际能力,适应汉语国际推广工作,胜任多种教学任务的高层次、应用型、复合型专门人才。毕业学生要求具有扎实的汉语言文化知识、熟练的汉语作为第二语言或外语教学的技能、较高的外语水平和较强的跨文化交际能力。
中心现聘有硕士生指导教师14名,专业必修课及重要选修课任课教师30余名,其中有高级职称或博士学位的人数多达31人。所有与汉语教学有关的教师,大部分具有在国内外从事对外汉语教学的经历以及对外汉语本科、外国学生本科或硕士专业课程的授课经验。
中心自2009年9月首次招生以来,目前共招收过来自日本、俄罗斯、韩国、美国、越南、泰国、伊拉克、印尼、科特迪瓦、巴西、秘鲁、澳大利亚、蒙古、马来西亚、土耳其、德国16国的外国硕士研究生四届共67名;2010年招收首届中国全日制硕士研究生32名。目前在校生118人,其中外国硕士生34人,中国硕士生84人。
中心开设的核心课程有“汉语作为第二语言教学”、“第二语言习得”、“汉语语言学”、“跨文化交际”、“中华文化与传播”等,拓展课程有“汉语教材与教学资源”、“汉语国际推广”、“外语教育心理学”等。同时,中心开设“中华传统文化技艺展示课”,有书法、二胡、葫芦丝、武术等可供中外学生选择,还定期组织学生参加剪纸、中国结、粤语等课外兴趣班。此外,中心还通过形式多样的文化考察、文化体验以及丰富多彩的联谊活动,使中外学生更好地学习汉语知识,中国文化,更深入地理解汉语国际推广工作的重大意义。
此外,中心还积极为学生开拓国内外实习基地,到目前为止已与广东外语外贸大学附属学校、广州爱玛德汉语培训机构、广州南湖国际学校、深圳美中国际学校、广东碧桂园国际学校、印尼三一一大学、印尼智星大学、印尼崇高基督教国际学校、印尼韩江学校、波兰居里夫人大学等院校或机构确立了长期稳定的实习合作关系。此外,目前我校已正式开办三所海外孔子学院:日本札幌大学孔子学院、俄罗斯乌拉尔大学孔子学院、秘鲁圣玛利亚天主教大学孔子学院。我中心有62%的国内学生通过国家汉办、广东省侨办以及校际间合作项目被派往波兰、意大利、美国、哥斯达黎加、墨西哥、秘鲁、智利、印尼等国家进行汉语教学。
 
 
A Brief Introduction to MTCSOL Education Center of GDUFS
 
For the adaptation to the excellent situation of Chinese international promotion and faculty demand, as well as speeding up the pace of Chinese towards the world, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies became the institution for training Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language (MTCSOL) postgraduates in 2009, with its own school-running characteristics and the existing conditions, has set up MTCSOL Education Center, affiliated to Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture (FCLC).
MTCSOL is the Professional Master’s Degree linked to the International Profession Chinese Teacher. The main task of MTCSOL Education Center in our school is to bring up the professionals of high level, applied and multiple models that possess the abilities to teach Chinese as a second language masterly and good skill to intercultural communication, the adaptation to the Chinese international promotion work, and the competence at many kinds of teaching tasks. Therefore, graduates are expected to be equipped with solid Chinese language knowledge, the practiced skills to teaching Chinese as a second language or foreign language teaching, as well as higher foreign language proficiency and better capabilities to intercultural communication.
Our center presently counts a staff of 14 master tutors and over 30 specialized compulsory and important elective course teachers, including senior professional titles or doctorates as many as 31 people. All the teachers with Chinese teaching concerned mostly have the experience of engagement in teaching Chinese as a second language in the domestic and foreign countries, undergraduate courses in teaching Chinese as a second language, foreign undergraduate courses or master specialized courses.
Our center enrolled the first students since September 2009, currently there have been four sessions of altogether 67 foreign postgraduates from Japan, Russia, Korea, the United States of America, Vietnam, Thailand, Iraq, Indonesia, and The Republic of Cote d'ivoire , Brazil, Perú , Australia, Mongolia,Malaysia,Turkey,Germany and so on; MTCSOL Education Cente has recruited  Chinese full-time postgraduates since 2010.Now there are 118 students in school, including 34 foreign students and 84 Chinese students.
Our center offers the core curriculums “Teaching Chinese as a Second Language”, “Second Language Acquisition”, “Chinese linguistics”, “Intercultural Communication”, and “Chinese Culture and Dissemination”; the extending lessons includes “Chinese Materials and Teaching Resources”, “Chinese International Promotion”, “Foreign Educational Psychology” and so on. Meanwhile, our center has started “Art Exhibition of Chinese Traditional Cultural Skills”, such as calligraphy, Erhu, Wushu, and others options available to Chinese and foreign students, also regularly organizes students to participate in extracurricular interest classes of paper cutting, Chinese knots, and Cantonese. In addition, our center through diversified cultural investigation, cultural experience and varied communication activities, makes Chinese and foreign students better learning Chinese knowledge, Chinese culture, more in-depth understanding of great significance of Chinese international promotion work.
        In addition, our center has also positively developed internship bases at home and abroad. So far, we have established a long-term and stable internship cooperative relationship with Guangdong University of Foreign Studies affiliated school, Guangzhou Emma's Chinese Training Institution, Guangzhou Nanhu International School, Shenzhen Meizhong School, Guangdong Country Garden School, Hang Kesturi(Indonesia), Elyon International Christian School(Indonesia),,Widya Kartika University Surabaya(Indonesia),  Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej w Lublinie(Poland) and so on. And our school has officially launched the three Confucius Institute, Japanese Sapporo University Confucius Institute, Russian Ural University Confucius Institute, Peru Virgin Mary Catholic University and other institutions or agencies. There are 62% domestic students sent to Poland, Italy, the United States, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Indonesia and other countries to teaching Chinese by Hanban, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Guangdong Provincial Government  and intercollegiate cooperation project.
