男,博士,教授。汉族,1969年10月1日生,重庆开县人。毕业于北京语言大学,获文学博士学位,硕士生导师。2006年9月-2008年8月受国家留学基金委资助在美国OhioStateUniversity英语系访学,成为该系的"叙事项目"(ProjectNarrative)研究成员之一。现任南方医科大学外国语学院英语语言文学教授,中国叙事学会理事,中外传记文学研究会副秘书长,《叙事》(中国版)主编,《英语研究》特邀顾问,《外语与外语教学》外审专家。在《外国文学评论》、《文学理论前沿》、《外国语》、《外国文学》、《外国文学研究》、《当代外国文学》、《解放军外国语学院学报》、《四川外语学院学报》、《天津外国语学院学报》、《山东外语教学》、《江西社会科学》等刊物上发表学术论文40余篇,专著3部,译著3部,编著3部,教材5本。在《中国文学》、《英语世界》、《大学英语》等各类英语期刊上发表译文50余篇。主持国家社会科学基金、教育部人文社会科学规划项目、省级社会科学基金等各类科研项目6项,主研1项。2003年获重庆市教育委员中青年教师资助项目,2004年获重庆市首批“高校优秀中青年骨干教师”荣誉称号。
