简历：

1961年出生，博士，研究员、博士生导师；国家杰出青年科学基金获得者，湖北省有突出贡献的中青年专家，获政府特殊津贴，入选首批新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选，纳入中国科学院“百人计划”管理。中国水产学会鱼病学专业委员会主任委员、中国动物学会寄生虫学专业委员会理事。《水生生物学报》、《水产学报》、《中国水产科学》、《长江流域资源与环境》、《CurrentZoology（动物学报）》、《ChineseJournalofOceanologyandLimnology》、《Parasites&Vectors》等刊物的编委。
1982年毕业于华中农学院（现华中农业大学），获学士学位；1984年毕业于中山大学，获硕士学位；1990年在英国Exeter大学获博士学位；1996年在中国科学院水生生物研究所被聘为研究员、博士生导师；1999年至2007年曾任中国科学院水生生物研究所副所长，所学术委员会副主任；2002年至2005年是第九、十届国家自然科学基金委员会生命科学部专家评审组成员；2005年获国家科技进步二等奖（排名第四）。
现主持国家重点基础研究发展计划（973）项目、中国科学院重要方向性项目和国家自然科学基金委员会重点项目等研究任务。研究方向包括鱼类的免疫系统和免疫反应，鱼类细菌病的致病机理以及免疫防治，寄生虫种群生态和宿主-寄生虫的相互作用。近期研究工作主要集中在鱼类的模式识别受体、鱼类干扰素基因以及抗体水平，柱状黄杆菌的致病机理与免疫防治；同时致力于探讨我国日本血吸虫和其中间宿主的遗传多样性、生态防治以及东南亚地区血吸虫的起源等方面的研究。已发表研究论文90余篇，其中SCI收录论文70余篇；培养博士22名，硕士5名。


研究方向：

鱼类的免疫系统和免疫反应，鱼类细菌病的致病机理以及免疫防治。寄生虫种群生态和宿主-寄生虫的相互作用。
