Biograhpy Jie was born in Zhangzhou, China. He received the B.E. degree in environmental engineering in 2013 from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China, and the Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering in 2019 (under the supervision of Prof. Wei Yan) from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China. He also joined in School of Chemistry in University of Bristol, UK as a joint Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Charl Faul from 2017-2018. Since 2019, he has been a Research Assistant Professor with the College of Environment and Resource at Fuzhou University, China, and joined the research group led by Prof. Ting Qiu. His current research interests include design, synthesis and tuning of conjugated microporous polyanilines (CMPAs), preparation of adsorbent materials for H2, CO2 and heavy metal ion selective adsorption and for solvent purification. He has authored and coauthored over 20 journal and conference publications on Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (Angew. Chem.), J. Mater. Chem. A, ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, Chem. Eng. J.,Langmuir, Adv. Energy. Mater. , etc. He received the 2019 WER Top Reviewers Awards for Water Environment Research, in 2020.
