牛玉贞,女,1982年7月出生,博士,教授,毕业于山东大学计算机科学与技术学院计算机软件与理论专业。在美国威斯康星大学-麦迪逊分校计算机系进行了两年的学习和科学研究工作。在美国波特兰州立大学计算机系完成了两年的博士后工作。
主要从事2D&3D图像和视频处理、计算机图形学、计算机视觉、多媒体、智能信息处理、人机交互等领域的研究工作,从事的研究课题包括图像和视频适应、立体三维图像处理、多媒体质量评估、媒体显著度分析和视频交互等。曾参与国家科技支撑计划等重大项目;已在若干国际顶级期刊和会议上发表论文,包括ACMTransactionsonGraphics、IEEETransactionsonMultimedia、IEEETransactionsonCircuitsandSystemsforVideoTechnology、SIGGRAPHASIA、IEEECVPR、ACMCHI、IJCAI等。已发表和录用论文28篇,另有两项美国专利正在申请。现为国际期刊《CyberJournals:MultidisciplinaryJournalsinScienceandTechnology》编委。
