　　戴伟忠，1962年生，1983年毕业于华侨大学应用数学系，获学士学位；1986年，毕业于厦门大学计算数学系，获硕士学位；1994年毕业于美国爱荷华大学应用数学于计算科学系，获博士学位。现为美国路易斯安娜理工大学教授，“The Open Applied Mathematics Journal ”，“The Open Numerical Methods Journal ”期刊编委，“Mathematical Reviews”评论员等。

　　研究领域主要为偏微分方程数值方法，生物传热学，数值传热学，计算流体力学，生物电磁学及微细加工技术（激光化学气相沉积，熔融结晶等）数值方法等。出版《Modeling of Microfabrication Systems》和《Advanced in Applications of Nonstandard Finite Difference Schemes》两部学术专著。在传热传质国际杂志，偏微分方程数值方法，应用物理杂志等SCI刊物上发表多篇学术论文。
