郭胜锋，男，1981年生，西南大学副教授。2007年毕业于华中科技大学，获工学硕士学位。同年免试攻博，于2010年获工学博士学位。期间，以Research Assistant身份两次赴香港理工大学合作研究。2010年至今在西南大学工作。2012年8月-2013年1月，被聘为香港理工大学Research Associate.

主要从事非晶合金及其复合材料的形成、结构及其物性的研究。在铁基非晶合金强韧化方面做出较突出贡献，发表在Scripta Materialia上的内生Fe基非晶基复合材料的工作入选该刊年度最热门25篇文章之一(排名第二)。至今已在Scripta Materialia, Electrochemistry Communications, Journal of Non-crystalline Solids, Journal of Alloys and Compounds等国外重要学术期刊上发表SCI收录论文30篇，被引用200余次。并应邀作为Journal of Non-crystalline Solids, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Materials Science and Engineering A, Materials Science and Engineering B, Electrochemistry Communications, Materials & Design, Materials Research Innovations等10多种国际学术期刊的审稿人。

作为项目负责人，主持国家自然科学基金青年基金、重庆市自然科学基金、国家重点基础研究发展计划合作项目、中央高校基本科研业务费、金属材料强度国家重点实验室开放基金、亚稳材料制备技术与科学国家重点实验室开放课题、江西省铜钨新材料重点实验室开放基金、深圳市特种功能材料重点实验室开放（主任）基金等10多项科研项目。
