1.新型催化材料:金属有机骨架催化材料、功能聚合物基催化材料、介孔异质复合催化材料、复杂结构纳米氧化物等系列新型催化材料的定向设计、可控合成、性能调控及全绿色催化体系的构筑方法。
2.新型节能储能材料:微介孔异质相变储能材料、纳米孔复合绝热材料等新型节能储能材料的选择性构筑、多功能组装及其蓄/传热、绝热性能研究。
3.新型催化材料及节能储能材料的中试工艺研究、规模化生产技术及工程应用。

2002年于美国Michigan Technological University获得理学博士学位。

2013年入选国家百千万人才工程,并被授予“有突出贡献中青年专家”荣誉称号。2012年被聘为教育部“奖励计划”。2011年获得北京市科学技术奖二等奖(第一完成人,基础研究类)。2005年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才计划。2002年入选北京市科技新星计划。目前兼任“分子与微结构可控高分子技术”北京市重点实验室学术委员,中国材料研究学会青年工作委员会常务理事,北京热物理与能源工程学会理事。研究方向包括新型催化材料和节能储能材料的设计制备、性能调控、放大生产与工程应用。作为项目负责人先后承担国家科技支撑计划,国家“863”计划、国家“973”计划课题、国家自然科学基金重点及面向项目等20余项国家或省部级项目。近十年在ACS Nano,Adv. Energy Mater. 等期刊发表论文130余篇;申请国家发明专利40项,已授权24项。先后担任The 9th ATPC国际科学委员会和组织委员会委员,2012及2013 International Conference on Small Science的联合主席,并在多个国内外学术会议上做特邀报告。
