南开大学经济系经济学学士（1982年），南开大学经济学硕士学位（1984年），师从谷书堂、蔡孝箴教授，德国科隆大学访问学者（1991年－1993年），德国慕尼黑国防大学经济管理系，在读博士（1993年－1995年）。
