教育背景1982年从山东招远考入清华大学无线电电子学系,先后从清华大学获得了学士、硕士和博士学位。

工作履历1992年4月起于清华大学电子工程系任教,先后担任讲师、副教授和教授。
1987年7月至1989年8月,清华大学应用物理系教师。

研究领域图像处理,无人机视觉,增强现实,手术导航,计算机图形学,计算机动画。
研究概况作为课题负责人承担过包括国家863计划、国家自然科学重点基金在内的科研课题50余项。
目前,作为负责人承担的科研项目有:
(1)国家自然科学基金重点项目:无人机对地目标的跟踪与定位研究;
(2)国家自然科学基金面上项目:基于机器学习的民航安检增强技术研究;
(3)国家自然科学基金面上项目:医学手术导航;
(4)Intel合作项目:目标检测与识别,视频中的人脸置换;
(5)部委项目:三维场景重建、三维目标跟踪与增强现实;
(6)部委项目:机载大容量高速图像存储与内容识别;
(7)部委项目:激光三维点云处理;
