近年来在具有新颖拓扑特性的配位聚合物及其磁性,多卤素与生物氮碱组装的纳米结构,多核稀土配合物,新的分子间相互作用类型,多功能分子磁性材料等方面的研究中得到了一系列的成果,有关工作发表在Adv. Funct. Mater., Chem. Asian J., Chem. Mater., Adv. Mater., Inorg. Chem., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., New J. Chem., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Dalton Trans., CrystEngComm, ChemCommun.等期刊上。
研究工作得到国家科技部国家重点基础研究发展规划项目(G,2006CB601102)、国家自然科学基金委青年基金(**),国家自然科学基金委面上项目(**,**)、创新群体项目(**)和重大项目(**)等基金资助。
自1986年起以单晶X-射线衍射作为主要研究手段从事科学研究工作。研究领域涉及固体化学,功能配位化学,材料化学,超分子化学,晶体工程和蛋白质晶体学。与合作者发表研究论文百余篇。
