(2)研究方向: 当前,原子核物理的发展进入了一个令人瞩目的新阶段。由于大型实验装置的兴建和巨大发展,人们已经或即将把正常状态的原子核(强相互作用系统)推向极端条件,如:高速旋转(转动频率高达1020Hz)、超形变(长短轴比达2:1)甚至巨形变(长短轴比达3:1)、奇异形状(梨形、香蕉形等)、反常中子质子比(晕核、超重核等)、常温高密(如核天体等)、高温低密(现在的高能核核碰撞产生的物质)、高温高密(将要进行的高能核核碰撞产生的物质、核天体等)、乃至“新”的物质形态—夸克胶子等离子体。这些新的强相互作用系统的状态和运动模式的发现既对传统的量子多体理论提出了严重挑战,同时也密切了与其他学科(如:高能物理、统计物理、天体物理、凝聚态物理、宇宙学、等)的关系。这些极端条件下强相互作用物质状态的发现对原子核物理等领域的研究不仅提出了严重的挑战,更提供了重大机遇,成为当前原子核物理发展的主攻方向。通过对这些极端条件下强相互作用物质核的研究,可以深化强相互作用理论的基础知识的认识,了解极端条件下强相互作用物质的形态、性质、关联和运动模式及作用机理,发展新的量子多体等方面的理论,为揭示早期宇宙强相互作用物质的演化行为提供信息。同时,该方面的研究也有可能对国民经济及国防建设产生重大影响,例如:利用高K同核异能态到正常形变核态的退激制造核X射线激光可以使激光器的能量增益成数倍提高,核心塌缩型超新星爆发的研究可以为惯性约束核聚变提供借鉴。因此,目前的研究方向和兴趣主要有:
强相互作用系统的相变
致密核物质与致密天体的结构、性质及其中的核反应和输运过程
核内非核子自由度与核量子色动力学
极端条件下的原子核结构
原子核的运动模式及其相变
多体和少体系统的代数研究方法与计算物理
主要科研成果:在所研究的各个方向都取得原创性成果。
