科研领域描述本实验室主要兴趣在于:

实验室主要兴趣是斑马鱼的胚胎发育。
斑马鱼是研究脊椎动物发育和人类疾病的理想模式生物。随着斑马鱼基因组计划的接近完成,我们面临着研究将近30,000个在斑马鱼和其他脊椎动物都保守的基因的功能及其调控的艰巨任务。大规模的反转录病毒插入诱变技术已在斑马鱼中得到成功地应用,最近,曾经在果蝇中广泛应用的增强子诱捕技术和基因诱捕技术,也在斑马鱼中得以推广。我们实验室目前正在应用大规模增强子诱捕技术、基因诱捕技术和基因组尺度的反转录病毒插入诱变技术,筛选在斑马鱼胚胎发育过程中起重要作用的基因。

ResearchDescription:
Thezebrafishisanexcellentmodelanimaltostudyvertebratedevelopmentandhumandiseases.Withthenearcompletionofitsgenomesequence,wefaceanenormousandimmediatechallengetorevealthefunctionandregulationofapproximately30,000highlyconservedgenescontainedinzebrafishandothervertebrategenomes.Large-scaleretroviralinsertionalgeneticscreenshavebeensuccessfullyappliedtozebrafish.Morerecently,enhancer/genetrapstrategy,apowerfultooloffunctionalgenomicsasshownbysuccessfulworkinDrosophila,hasbeenreportedinzebrafish.Nowweareapplyingthelargescaleenchancer-trapandgene-trapmediatedbyTol2transposonscreenandAGenome-WideMutagenesisScreenMediatedbyRetrovirusInsertioninzebrafish.
