AbstractA species of the family Xyloryctidae, Neospastis camellia S. Wang, nom. nov., is described as a replacement name of N. simaona nom. nud., with the descriptions of its larva and pupa and the biological notes. The pest is feeding on the leaves of tea plant Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Kuntze (Theaceae).
