1. 液态半导体原子结构的X射线吸收精细结构谱研究:发展了一种有效的液态物质X射线吸收谱测量方法,并率先将反蒙特卡洛方法用于液态实验数据分析,揭示了半导体材料固液转变过程中半导体-金属转变机理。相关研究工作发表在国际著名物理学刊物Phys. Rev. Lett. 上(Y. R. Wang et al, Phys. Rev. Lett., 79(1997)3664),论文被引39次,其中他引29次。国际著名XAFS研究专家、意大利dell’Aquilla 大学 A. Filipponi 教授在其撰写的液体EXAFS研究综述文章中,对我们上述结果进行了整段评述,并在文中引用了我们三篇相关文章。
2. 单晶硅熔凝过程中固液界面形貌及微缺陷形成研究:单晶硅是半导体产业中的支柱性材料。我们采取X射线形貌学方法,对单晶硅熔凝过程中固液界面形貌变化及界面附近位错形成过程进行了系统地实验研究,试图找出无DASH NECKING过程的新单晶生长方法。创新点:为解释晶体熔化过程与位错形成关系这一基本问题,提供了世界上少数几个有关的直接实验证据之一。相关研究论文有5篇相继发表在国际著名材料类、应用物理类学术刊物 J. Crystal Growth、J. Appl. Phys.、Materials Engineering上。其中发表在2000年JCG上的文章单篇被引次数为7次。
3. 光子晶体材料制备过程中关键力学因素的作用与控制:在材料微纳结构调控方面,从流体力学角度出发,侧重研究对流对胶体自组装过程的影响,发展了红外辅助胶体自组装模板法制备光子晶体的新方法(JACS、APL)。利用胶体晶体模板法结合水热晶体生长技术,首次在单晶ZnO表面制备出了二维周期性碗状单晶ZnO结构(Cryst. Growth & Design、发明专利)。该技术可用于优化发光二极管LED器件结构,解决LED发射效率过低这一公认难题,具有一定的普适性。
4. 材料微结构控制与力学性能提高:块体金属非晶材料具有优异的弹性性能、极高的屈服强度,但其塑性变形能力差。如何提高块体金属非晶的塑性变形能力是该研究领域面临的最大科学问题。通过在非晶材料制备过程中诱发马氏体相变,从而制备出含有微米尺度的非晶复合材料,该非晶复合材料的压缩塑性变形可达6.4%,与通常不超过2%的单相非晶塑性变形相比,复合材料的塑性变形能力有了成倍的提高。文章发表在Appl. Phys. Lett. 上(Appl. Phys. Lett., 87(2005)051905.),被引次数为30次,其中他引28次。
