1993年9月至1997年7月，兰州大学地理系，获理学学士。

1999年9月至2002年7月，北京大学科学与社会研究中心，获哲学硕士。

2002年9月至2005年7月，中国科学院自然科学史研究所，获理学博士。

2004年4月至2005年3月，德国埃尔朗根大学访学。

2006年10-12月，法国国家科研中心科学史与科学哲学研究所访学。

2011年1-7月，剑桥大学李约瑟研究所访学。

2013年5-6月，国立首尔大学科学文化研究中心访学。

工作经历　
2005年7月至2009年12月，中国科学院自然科学史研究所助理研究员。
2010年1月至2018年5月，中国科学院自然科学史研究所副研究员。
2018年5月起，中国科学院自然科学史研究所研究员。
2016年起任《自然科学史研究》副主编。
2018年起任国际地质学史委员会（INHIGEO）委员。

2019年起任国际东亚科学技术及医学史学会（ISHEASTM）秘书。
