个人简况
  男,现任中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所研究员、博士生导师、生态环境信息学研究室主任、中国科学院大学地理信息科学首席教授,国家****基金获得者,中华人民共和国国务院政府特殊津贴获得者。2001年以来,主持国家重点基础研究计划项目(973)、国家科技支撑计划项目,国家高技术研究发展计划项目(863)、国际科技合作重点项目、国家自然科学基金重点项目和中国科学院知识创新工程重要方向项目等20余项课题。目前,担任《ScienceChina》、 《Transactions in GIS》、《Journal of Geographical Sciences》、《中国科学》、《地球信息科学学报》和《生态学报》等国内外重要期刊编委。在国内外学术刊物上发表学术论文200余篇,出版中外文专著4部。
研究领域与研究方向:地球表层系统建模,生态环境信息学
科研业绩:在全面总结分析经典曲面建模方法的理论缺陷和克服这些理论缺陷的现代数学理论的基础上,将地球表层系统及其环境要素的栅格化描述抽象为数学“曲面”,并以微分几何学和控制论为基础,开创性地建立了以全局性近似数据(包括遥感数据和全球模型粗分辨率模拟数据)为驱动场、以局地高精度数据(包括监测网数据和调查采样数据)为优化控制条件的高精度曲面建模(HASM)方法,有效地解决了半个世纪以来困扰曲面建模的误差问题和多尺度问题。近20多年来,在广泛应用高精度曲面建模方法的基础上,提炼提出了地球表层建模基本定理及其关于空间插值、多尺度转换、数据融合和数据同化的推论,为生态环境信息学发展奠定了方法基础。
