主要研究成果
1) 提出“系统性和匹配性”优先原则,通过联网调查途径构建了由41个典型森林和46个典型草地生态系统5760多种植物叶片-枝-干-根112种性状组成的中国生态系统性状数据库(Functional Trait database of China’s ecosystems, China_Trait)。China_Traits的优点是系统性和配套性,可弥补与国际著名的TRY数据库的不足,用于阐释从器官-物种-功能群-群落-生态系统维度的生态学问题;
2) 从物种-功能群-群落多个层次阐明了植物叶片(多种)植物性状的空间变异规律和影响因素,其中气孔性状、叶片解剖结构性状、叶绿素性状的区域格局属全球首次报道,发现气孔形态性状“跷跷板式”调控机制、叶-枝-干-根间N和P优化分配机制;
3) 突破了功能性状研究“器官-物种-功能群-群落”尺度拓展的技术难题,率先在复杂的天然森林群落中建立了“性状-功能”定量关系,解决了长期困绕“功能性状-功能”研究的世界性难题,拓展了群落性状的新领域;
4) 原创性提出了生态系统性状概念体系(Ecosystem trait),倡导将器官水平测定传统性状在单位土地面积上标准化,既可满足生态系统生态学自身发展的需求,又可构建传统性状与宏观生态研究的桥梁,促进区域生态环境问题的解决;
5) 自主发展了Q10研究新的“自动变温培养+连续自动测试”培养和测定模式(VDM模式,已成为被广泛接受的三种Q10培养与测定模式之一。在新模式支持下,通过联网测定模式较深入地阐释了区域-全球尺度土壤碳氮周转速率及其对温度变化响应(ToptQ10Q10-升温vs.Q10-降温)的空间格局及其影响机制研究;
6) 利用多源历史数据和数据融合方法,在改进缺失容重插补方法、点-区域空间拓展方法的基础上,系统地评估了中国陆地生态系统碳贮量现状、1980s-2010s的固碳速率。基于中国区域大量森林实测数据和经典Logistic生长曲线,自主发展了中国森林生态系统固碳模型(FCS model),并对中国森林2010-2050年固碳潜力进行了评估;
7) 以CERN为主构建了50多个野外站组成的中国生态系统雨水沉降联网观测网络(China_WD),开展了氮、磷、酸、重金属等近40种雨水理化性质的月动态监测,填补了相关空白。基于联网观测数据与数据整合,较系统揭示了中国(含全球)大气氮、磷、酸和重金属沉降的时空格局、变化趋势及其影响因素,并基于化学计量平衡原理提出沉降中高N:P比将进一步加剧中国陆地生态系统磷限制假说。
