1982年至1989年在吉林大学化学系读本科及硕士，1992年于吉林大学化学系获博士学位。1992年至1996年先后在希腊国家研究与工程基地、德国马普胶体与界面研究所从事博士后研究。1996年中国科学院原感光化学研究所研究员、博士生导师。1999年至今任中科院化学所研究员、博士生导师。
