刘春明,男,博士,研究员,博士生导师。
1984年山东师范学院生物系获学士学位;1987年在中国科学院上海植物生理研究所获硕士学位;1996年英国John Innes Centre/UEA获博士学位。1990-1992年在新加坡国立大学做访问研究;1996-1999年在美国OSU从事博士后研究;1999-2005年在荷兰国际植物研究中心担任实验室主任/高级研究员。2006年获得"国家****基金"。现任国家重大研究计划首席科学家、中国科学院植物研究所植物分子生理学重点实验室主任、中国细胞学会副监事长、中国作物学会常务理事、Journal of Integrative Plant Biology (JIPB)主编、Plant Molecular Biology Reporter副主编。迄今为止已发表论文70余篇,总引用 3200余次。Plant Cell、Plant Physiology和Plant Journal等杂志先后6次将其研究工作作为封面刊登。
研究方向:
本研究组致力于探索植物种子(胚胎和胚乳)的发育生物学基础,研究合子胚受精激活的分子机理以及小分子多肽在植物干细胞调控过程中的作用。主要学术贡献包括提出了生长素的极性运输控制植物器官原基形成的理论;建立了植物界第一个细胞质分裂的突变体模型;阐明了控制胚乳细胞分裂所必需的一系列基因;发现AMP脱氨酶在受精卵激活过程中的关键作用;证实了控制干细胞分化的CLV3和CLE19基因是以小分子多肽激素形式参与信号传递。研究内容包括:1)受精后合子激活的分子机理;2)胚乳糊粉层和淀粉胚乳分化;3)多肽激素与植物的信号转导;4)水稻TILLING技术平台建设。
