男，汉族，1956年9月生，江西萍乡人，经济学博士。


工作简介：
现任中国社会科学院副院长、党组成员，中国社会科学院学部委员、学部主席团成员，第十二届全国人民代表大会常务委员会委员、农业与农村委员会委员。兼任国家“十三五”规划专家委员会委员，《劳动经济研究》主编。
主要学术荣誉：
2008年获第二届张培刚发展经济学研究优秀成果奖；
2008年获第四届中国发展百人奖；
2011年获首届中国软科学奖；
2011年获第七届中华人口奖；
2011年获第十四届孙冶方经济科学奖；
