研究领域研究领域涉及湖泊富营养化机理和治理。包括湖泊污染化学、同位素示踪下湖泊氮循环研究；湖泊水土界面生源要素迁移转化规律研究；湖泊中持久性有机污染物的来源、分布、蓄积、生态效应和潜在毒性研究。
1. 水体营养盐交换及形态变化(以浅水水体为主). 湖泊水土界面氮磷营养盐交换及内源负荷研究. 氮磷形态转化,沉积物-间隙水-上覆水交互作用、湖泊氮循环的地球生物化学研究.
2. 水生生态系统中持久性有机污染物的分布, 来源及其潜在毒性风险评价
