研究领域综合运用冷冻电镜三维重构、X射线晶体学以及其他生物物理等研究技术和手段,开展生物大分子复合体和膜蛋白的结构与功能研究,研究内容主要集中在冷冻电镜三维重构技术方法学、重要生物超大分子复合体和膜蛋白的结构功能研究以及生物膜(如线粒体膜)动态的分子机制研究三个方向。同时,瞄准冷冻电镜三维重构技术的前沿,深入开展新技术、新方法的研究。
