1、量子规范场论及其相关的数学物理问题。
2、推广的狭义相对论及其相关的引力理论模型。
3、黑洞和弯曲时空的热力学。
4、黑洞熵的微观起源探讨。
近期主要关注AdS/CFT对应及其应用、一般的主体(bulk)/边界对应、黑洞的膜方法与引力/流体对应、全息原理与引力的本质等。
