研究领域1978年出生于湖南省涟源市。1996年9月至2000年6月，厦门大学化学系，获学士学位；2000年9月至2006年1月，中国科学院上海有机化学研究所，获博士学位；2006年2月至2009年2月，白鹭医药技术（上海）有限公司，高级科学家，从事新药研发工作；2009年3月至2015年3月，美国 The Scripps Research institute, K.Barry.Sharpless 实验室研究助理。已在Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 以及 J. Am. Chem. Soc.等期刊发表论文多篇。其中代表性工作“六价硫氟交换反应” （Sulfur(VI) Fluoride Exchange (SuFEx): Another Good Reaction for Click Chemistry,第二代的点击化学理念的奠基论文。）在材料化学以及生物化学方面的应用分别发表于Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 以及 J. Am. Chem. Soc. 杂志的当期封面；并且本人是多篇重要世界专利的主要发明人，所涉及领域包括药物化学，不对称催化，材料化学，以及化学生物学。
