研究领域冯广龙博士目前主要从事农业生态、水文水资源、水质、气候变化、温室气体和可持续发展的试验与模拟研究。

1999年9月-2003年8月: 美国加州大学河滨分校, 土壤水、气和溶质运移转化及其与作物生长、土质和水质关系的研究与模拟, 访问学者。
2003年9月-2011年3月: 美国华盛顿州立大学, 水土保持过程研究与模拟, 研究科学家。
