研究领域Biofilm(生物被膜) 是附着于载体表面的微生物膜性聚合物(surface-associated communities ), 是微生物在自然界的普遍存在方式。据估计,60%以上的细菌感
染都是由生物被膜形成而造成的。由细菌生物被膜所引发的感染是造成难治疗的感染性疾病的重要原因之一。目前开展以下几方面的研究:
1. 细菌生物被膜形成的分子机理;
2. 生物被膜形成直接相关的关键多糖的合成与代谢调控;
3. 细胞程序性死亡与细菌生物被膜形成与发育;
4. 细菌生物被膜的防治及其应用。
