工作简历中国科学院昆明植物研究所研究员、博士生导师。现任中科院昆明植物研究所标本馆馆长、中科院生物多样性与生物地理学重点实验室学位会委员。主要从事东亚高级孤立类群的生物地理学、禾本科分类学和生物多样性保护研究 。先后获云南省自然科学奖一等奖（2003年）、二等奖（2001年，排名第一），2001获国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴。先后主持国家自然科学基金面上、国家973项目课题、中科院重大项目课题或专题多项。担任Journal of Systematics and Evolution (SCI-E 源期刊)和《植物生态学报》编委。在Molecular Ecology 、Taxon、Annals of Botany、Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society等国内外重要期刊上发表研究论文90余篇（其中SCI刊物36篇）。指导的“中国西南及越南北部十齿华（十齿花科）叶绿体谱系地理学研究”一文荣获2009年度云南省优秀科技论文一等奖。
