研究领域： 主要从事林木的分子生物学和基于基因组学的分子育种研究。研究了山茶花型、花色等观赏性状的驯化机制及分子调控机理，建立了分子标记辅助育种技术体系；开展能源树种抗逆、生物质合成等途径的遗传机理研究，探索林木基因组育种的研究方法，并开展调控基因的功能基因组学研究，利用遗传工程进行定向育种研究。
