张元中,男,汉族,生于1971年,四川省通江县人。1990年9月-1994年7月在四川师范学院(现西华师范大学)物理系物理教育学习,获学士学位;1994年9月-1997年7在西南石油学院(现西南石油大学)石油工程系油气田开发工程专业学习,获硕士学位;1997年9月-2000年7月在石油大学(北京)(现中国石油大学(北京))地球科学系地球探测与信息技术专业学习,获博士学位。2000年8月-2003年8月在大庆油田从事博士后研究工作,2003年9月出站后到中国石油大学(北京)工作。2006年12月至2009年10月在新疆油田从事第二站博士后研究工作。2007年11月至2008年12月在科罗拉多矿业学院地球物理系进修访问1年。
目前为中国石油大学(北京)地球物理与信息工程学院测井系教师,副教授,硕士生导师,从事地球物理测井方向的教学及科研工作。承担勘查技术与工程专业《矢量分析与场论》、《岩石物理基础》;石油工程专业《测井解释与生产测井》;研究生课程《物理场论》等课程的教学工作。发表论文50多篇,专著2部。
研究方向:岩石物理学,测井解释。
