廖宗湖,男,福建漳平人,1984年生。中共党员、博士、中国石油大学(北京)副教授、博士生导师。2008年毕业于福州大学勘查技术与工程专业,2013年获得美国Oklahoma大学地质与地球物理学博士学位,2014年归国任石大油气勘探开发与地质系副教授,2015年入选中国石油大学(北京)拔尖人才计划。现已在Earth andPlanetaryScienceLetters等著名国际期刊发表论文和著作章节10余篇;担任Interpretation专辑《Fault Damage Zones》责任编辑,是美国勘探地球物理家学会(SEG)、美国石油地质工程师学会(AAPG)、美国地球物理联合会(AGU)会员,任福建省龙岩市留学联谊会理事。长期从事断层动力学研究,建立了区域性滑坡预警系统(SLIDE1.0),提出了断层“脉冲型”断裂机制和HARD摩擦模型。2016年起参与中科院A类战略性先导科技专项“智能导钻”,负责研究四川盆地深部盖层破裂机制及油气保存。
