应能源学院由庆副教授邀请，加拿大卡尔加里大学化学与石油工程系Nancy Chen副教授来我校进行学术交流，并讲授《Surface Production Operation》课程。

Nancy Chen副教授简介：Dr. Shengnan(Nancy) Chen is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, at University of Calgary, Canada. She was a visiting professor at Imperial College London in 2018. Her research areas are focusing on the development of unconventional tight and shale reservoirs with multistage hydraulic fractures. Dr. Chen is currently serving as the executive editor for the Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering and associate editor for Geofluids and was an associate editor for Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering between 2014 and 2016. She holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Petroleum Engineering and oil-gas field development engineering from the China University of Petroleum and a Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Systems Engineering from the University of Regina, Canada. She has authored and coauthored over 60 journal and conference papers. She is a registered P.Eng with APEGA and a member of SPE.
