从事气相沉积薄膜、机械、摩擦学和地质工程等领域的教学和科研工作,主要研究方向为:材料物理、摩擦学表面工程和气相沉积。主持和参加科技部重大国际合作项目、国家自然科学基金项目、新世纪优秀人才支持计划等科研项目30余项;申报国家专利40余项;主编国际专著1部,参编国际专著2部;发表论文70余篇,其中40余篇为SCI收录,30余篇为EI论文。多次担任国内外重要学术会议组织委员或分会主席,为国内外十几家学术期刊审稿专家。现任中国机械工程学会摩擦学分会、表面工程分会特种薄膜与涂层专业委员会委员和中国地质学会非开挖专业委员会常务委员。博士学位论文获2009年度“全国优秀博士学位论文”和2008年度“北京市优秀博士学位论文”;研究成果获第十一届青年地质科技奖—金锤奖(2008年)并在2008年入选教育部新世纪人才计划。
