肖贤明，男，1962年出生，湖南人，博士生导师（1999），国家基金获得者（2006年），国家973项目首席科学家（2012年）。主要研究领域：石油天然气地质与地球化学；
主持并完成相关项目30余项，发表相关学术论文300余篇，其中SCI论文100余篇；论文SCI他引3000余次，SCI高引论文（TOP1%）5篇；授权专利18项；研究成果获国家科技进步一等奖与二等奖各1项、省部级一等奖1项，省部级二等奖5项；获国务院政府特别津贴（1992年）、地球化学“候德封”奖（1992年）、中国科学院研究生院优秀教师（2006）、广州经济开发区科技领军人才（2012年）与杰出人才（2018）等荣誉。现为中国地质大学（北京）（二级）。
