王小军教授2001年获得美国俄亥俄州立大学经济学博士学位，现任美国夏威夷大学经济系副教授（终身教授）。他教授宏观经济学、货币经济学和中国经济发展等课程，并致力于研究货币经济学和中国劳动力市场转型及教育回报等课题。他曾在Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics, 和 Economic Inquiry等期刊上发表学术论文。他近期的科研项目在于中国改革时期教育回报的变化问题。他曾任2006-2007年中国留美经济学会理事。
