1993年获南开大学博士学位(有机化学)，先后任职于华南农业大学、美国UniversityofArkansas(Researchassociate)和中国科学院沈阳应用生态研究所(百人计划入选者)。2008年人才引进到中国农业大学资源与环境学院任教，现为生态学教授、博士生导师，研究方向为化学生态学。
