个人简历1991年毕业于福建农学院，获学士学位，同年考入北京农业大学，攻读硕士学位，并提前攻读博士学位，1996年获博士学位。1997-2004年期间,在美国Rutgers大学Waksman研究所做博士后研究，并被聘为研究工作人员；2005-2006年，在孟山都公司总部工作，任研发部门项目负责人，2006年9月至今，被聘为中国农业大学特聘教授。多年来一直从事玉米理论基础研究，承担了国家科技部863、973计划、农业部项目。

研究方向目前主要从事以下几个方向的研究：　　1.玉米籽粒的功能基因组学
　　2.玉米抗虫、抗旱及抗除草剂基因工程
　　3.禾本科植物比较基因组学
　　4.玉米分子育种
　　

课题项目在研课题：　　（1）科技部973计划“玉米大豆高产优质品种分子设计和选育基础研究”，2009年-2013年，项目首席科学家。
　　（2）农业部“抗病虫、抗除草剂玉米新品种培育”，2011年-2015年，项目总负责人。
　　（3）科技部863项目“玉米功能基因组研究和应用”，2012年-2015年，子课题负责人。
　　（4）农业部948项目“玉米分子设计育种技术系统”，2011年-2015年，子课题负责人。
（5）科技部国家杰出青年科学基金。
