主要研究方向为中医药防治优势病机制研究。重点以中医治疗有优势的自身免疫疾病和流感疾病为研究对象，总结分析中医临床治疗数据，结合系统生物学技术和方法，探索中医证候分类及中医临床干预的生物学基础；借助动物模型开展中药复方作用机理研究，结合生物信息学方法，探索中药复方治疗自身免疫疾病和流感疾病的作用机制及特点。作为课题负责人主持国家自然基金1项，中科院重点实验室开放基金1项，中国博士后基金特别资助1项，中国中医科学院院级课题4项；作为分课题负责人主持科技重大专项1项，十一五支撑计划2项，科技部重大新药创制项目1项。累计发表学术论文200余篇，其中SCI及EI收录论文100余篇，H-index=18。相关工作曾获得北京市优博、全国优博论文提名奖、香江****、北京市科技新星及中国中西医结合学会科技技术奖励。
