个人简介
　　1968年出生于湖南，1991本科毕业于湖南农大，1996年硕博连读毕业于中国农大，1999年到2001年于日本京都大学从事博士后研究。现任中国农科院蔬菜花卉所所长，中国农科院“蔬菜害虫防控”首席科学家，国家自然科学基金委学科评议组成员。
　　兼任中国昆虫学会杀虫剂毒理专业委员会主任委员，中国植物保护学会园艺病虫害防治专业委员会主任委员， 北京昆虫学会副理事长，蔬菜有害生物控制与优质栽培北京市重点实验室主任。兼任《农药学学报》副主编、PLoS ONE学术编辑，以及《植物保护学报》、《应用昆虫学报》、《环境昆虫学报》等8个期刊编委。


科研情况
　　长期从事蔬菜害虫发生危害规律、灾变机制以及关键防治技术研究。相继主持国家****、863、国家基金重点、农业行业专项、国家科技支撑等课题20余项。获3项国家科技进步二等奖；获16项国家发明专利；编写学术专著9部。在Nature、PLoS Genetics、IBMB、Insect Molecular Biology、Journal of Virology、Functional Ecology等发表SCI论文100余篇，论文他引3000余次。培养博士后、博士和硕士研究生80余名。
　　 先后获 中国工程院 “光华工程科技奖”、“全国优秀科技工作者”、 农业部“全国农业科研杰出人才” 、国务院政府特殊津贴等荣誉。
