张永军，男，河北张家口人。现任中国农业科学院植物保护研究所农业昆虫研究室副主任、中国农业科学院植物保护研究所新乡科研中试基地主任、研究员、博士生导师。
1994年获河北农业大学植物保护专业学士学位，1997年获沈阳农业大学农业昆虫与害虫防治专业硕士学位，2000年获中国农业科学院研究生院农业昆虫与害虫防治专业博士学位。2000年到中国农科院植保所从事棉花害虫研究。曾任中国植物保护学会青年工作委员会主任委员，兼任北京昆虫学会理事。
张永军主要从事重要农业害虫综合治理、昆虫分子化学生态学、棉花抗虫性和转基因植物生物安全性等方面的研究。主持和参加国家自然科学基金项目、“863”项目、国家“973”项目、国家“支撑”项目、“行业”项目和财政部及农业部科技项目等多项科研课题的研究工作。主持制订和参与制订了《棉花品种抗病虫性评价技术规范》、《转基因植物及其产品环境安全检测抗虫水稻》等10项国家技术标准。培养及联合培养硕/博士研究生50余人，发表科研论文160多篇，其中在Plant Biotechnology Journal, Plant, Cell & Environment , BMC Genomics，IBMB, IMB等发表SCI文章70余篇。获国家/省部级科技奖励8项。授权国家发明专利12项，主编著作1部，参编著作8部，合作选育国家审定抗病虫棉花新品种7个。是2010-2011年度中华农业科技奖优秀创新团队及2014-2019国家自然科学基金创新群体成员之一。近年来，致力于通过解析靶标昆虫和寄主植物的化学通讯机制实现害虫行为调控。以寄主植物和靶标害虫之间的化学通讯系统为研究对象，在植物挥发性气味基因调控网络和昆虫嗅觉识别行为控制两方面开展了系统研究。
