教授,博导。北航自旋电子交叉学科研究中心主任,费尔北京研究院院长,曾担任法国国家科学研究中心终身研究员。
2007年获得法国南巴黎大学物理学博士学位,2009年成为法国国家科学研究中心终身研究员带领自旋电子集成团队。自旋电子寄存器发明人,自旋电子器件开源模型库SPINLIB创始人,主持和参与欧盟或法国重大科研项目近20项。2013年加入北航,任自旋电子交叉学科研究中心主任,费尔北京研究院院长。现主持包括自然基金委重大科学仪器专项、教育部111引智基地、北京市科技计划及华为创新导航等大型项目。
迄今出版学术专著2部,发表论文200余篇,其中SCI检索近100篇,EI/ISTP检索70余篇,大会邀请报告50余次,授权发明专利11项。为多个SCI期刊如IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology, Electronics Letters 等编委,担任IEEE-ISCAS, IEEE-DATE, ACM/IEEE-NANOARCH等国际会议主席或分会场主席,是Nature Nanotechnology等国际刊物的固定评阅人。
Weisheng Zhao (M’07-SM’14) received the Ph.D. degree in physics from University of Paris Sud, Paris, France, in 2007.
He worked as a Research Associate at the CEA's embedded computing laboratory, France, from 2007 to 2009, and at the French national research center (CNRS), France, as a tenured scientist from 2009 to 2014 where he led the spintronics integration group. Now he is a professor and director of Fert Beijing Research Institute in Beihang University, Beijing, China. His research focused on the hybrid integration of emerging nano-devices (spintronics, nanotube devices and memristors etc.) with CMOS circuits towards logic and memory applications. Recently, he has focused on magnetic skyrmions and their future electronic applications. He has authored or coauthored 2 books, more than 200 scientific papers in the leading journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, and he also holds 4 international patents and more than 30 Chinese patents.
Prof. Zhao is the associated editor of IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology and IET Electronics Letters.
