Abstract:
 In this talk, we will introduce the application of cobordism theory in the classification of symmetry-protected topological phases, i.e SPT phases. We will show how to use cobordism to classify positivity reflection invertible TQFTs with symmetry groups and use this to give a general formula for SPT phases by cobordism. We will also show some examples of certain symmetry groups and their computations of cobordism.
